PRO:

• Intelligent
• Very even-tempered
• Supports school choice
• Has spoken out against NSA

CON:

• Has not demonstrated a passion to learn about foreign affairs and military issues
• Supports amnesty (pathway to citizenship for illegals)
• Supports increased federal role in education

• believes in reaching across the aisle (compromising principles)
• claimed "GOP marginalized" during Obamacare(though they really did noting to stop it)
• says racism still rampant(though it's only come back to the front because of Obama) 
• For everyone taking all innoculations(like Human papillomavirus). 

Carson, in the past, has supported:

• Obama-style amnesty
• Gun control 
• Opposed parental rights.
