Incumbent – has experience.
Eight years US Army (Medic and Nurse)
Ccurrently works in hospice - helping families prepare for the loss of a loved one. The seriousness of his profession shows in his calm and focused demeanor when dealing with city issues.
Detailed knowledge of issues: city mobility, business growth, city zoning codes, though weak on finances.
Favors term limits.
Proponent of working with surrounding jurisdictions.
Doesn't believe the Woodlands Parkway Extension is needed (but if it's built, either the state or county should pay for it).
Supports voluntary annexation.

Cons

Unclear motivation for switching council positions.
Fan of TML(Texas Municipal League - a liberal, self-serving establishment organization)
Failed to answer 4 questions on questionnaire(addressed in video interview).
Wants to control what type of business comes in to Magnolia (free market should decide).
He was confused about whether or not they were paying for but not taking any water from providers (SJRA/LSGCD)
Aware of debt by not sure how much.
Favors red-light cameras("for safety", though stats - rear-end collisions prove otherwise).
