Pros
- Seemingly a financial conservative and has pointed out some concerns that need to be addressed, including a concern about council receiving pay and health insurance.
- Doesn't think current council is as responsive a previous council was, though no specifics
- Thinks there should be more "sales tax" businesses than apartments built in citys' limited space left
- Says council is spending frivously and wants to cut it back (but has no specifics as to what).
- Wants to make use of unused common areas for resident activities, such as growing vegetables.
- Has a goal of zero property tax.
- Works as a legal aid to a local law firm.
Cons
- Consensus that she's not properly prepared to be running in this race
- Many of her answers express personal wishes & wants(Community Garden & Center - no clear way to pay for it). Myopic.
- Blames current council for current health insurance provider but it previous council (her allies) who put it in place
- The same for the ousted City Administrator, when in fact it was previous council who gave the former City Mgr. a 2 year golden parachute, which the new regime (including Mr. Fletcher), had to re-negotiate down upon the Admins exit.
- Doesn't know much about the city's financials(claims website not intuitive and she couldn't find budget. There is to be a new website layout starting in May).
- Struggles to provide a concise plan of action for her campagn. Makes only general statements on what she would do if elected, specific only on gardening for the common areas.
- Having a daughter working for the city poses a conflict-of-interest that could require recusals.
- No mention of mobility as an issue.
- Doesn't seem to understand the time commitment required(has family commitments in helping to raise granddaughters).
- No prior experience in elected office
- Unfocused unhappiness
