Pros
- Another young, bright, rising star in the Montgomery County legal community. Quiet, dry sense of humor.
- Family steeped in Public Service, especially Law Enforcement.
- Concerned about past inefficiencies of lax judges in court/s, leading to backlogs.
- Recognizes the constitution is the driving force in our courts system
- Running his own law firm the last 7 years, he has conservative principles; detailed and concise while answering questionnaire in laymans' terms.
- Spends considerable time in court during the week, mainly civil and family matters.
- Has experience in appellate courts (1st, 5th, 9th & 10th).
- Has a concern about Law Enforcements abuse, in some cases, with Civil Asset Forfeiture.
- Splits practice (time) between Montgomery and Harris County
Cons
- While experienced in civil courts, he's lacking experience in jury trials (only 3, versus 150 "bench" (judge) trials.
- Unknown in the grassroots community.
- Encourage him to be more active in republican party at grass roots level (relative unknown in grassroots conservative circles before running for office)
