Pros

Conroe PD 18 yrs. w/management experience
Master Peace Officer License.
Concerned Pct. 2 is top heavy(Constable, Chief Deputy, Capt, Lt and Sargeant for only 10 people.
Doesn't feel dept is fulfilling their statutory duty of Process Service(though he seemed to not present all the facts regarding this). Claims $1.5 million has gone uncollected.
Only candidate that does not want to grow department into another bloated Law Enforcement agency. Majority (rather than just three deputies) would serve papers/collections.
Said one of judges needs full-time bailiff.
Wants to move towards zero-based budgeting, as well as post budget online

Cons

Only interview we had in the Constable races where he spoke of not expanding staffing of the office
Claimed the Precinct 2 JP Court sometimes lacked a bailiff, but the JP disagreed with that assertion
Claimed “They have had a K-9 in their budget for the last several years,” but Constable DeForest said there has been no K-9 in the Pct 2 budget for the past 2 years
