• Highly educated, solid conservative, traditional values, involved w/community(energetic, enthusiastic, encourager)
• With experience in construction management, disaster relief and procurement, has a clear vision for the county(by attending Commissioners Court), starting w/zero-based budgeting for only those things constitutionally required!
• Has managed large budgets while working with federal, state, & local officials
• Offered to take 20 % pay cut to show commitment that government can be more efficient.
• Experience in construction management, disaster relief, procurement
• Attends countywide meetings on a consistent basis, including Commissioners Court (his opponent does not), as well as, Tea Party and Eagle Forum Events.
• Has technology background designing, installing, & maintaining industrial distributive control systems.
• Thinks Commissioners salaries are too high; will reduce his from day one.
• Has background in logistics, procurement and construction management resources to counties.
• Favors a county-wide mobility study (not just Pct. 1)
• Fiscal conservative; advocates taxpayer votes on all debt; supports Certificates of Obligation ONLY for emergencies; supports multiple bidders for county contracts to get the best price
