Pros

  • 30+ years of experience in civil litigation
  • Board certified in commercial and consumer civil law.
  • 200 civil and 1000 bench trials
  • The first to put a spot light on the inefficiencies of the local courts, causing the civil court backlogs we're seeing now
  • extremely active in local political arena
  • unquestionably conservative values in fiscal & governance matters
  • has facilitated positive change
  • tireless, energetic crusader
  • exceptionally good investigative skills

Cons

  •  In light of the most recent controversy surrounding the May 13, 2020 Conroe Courier article, our position remains  the same because of Mr. Yollicks overwhelming civil litigation experience and his conservative, constitutional activism, which still makes him the most qualified candidate in the race.
  • The MCTP PAC has been made aware of videos (1) and (2) that have surfaced of Mr. Yollick allegedly taking other candidates doorhangers from voters front doors.  An article about the action is in the Courier.  Mr. Yollick's reply can be found on his candidates' FB page.  The MCTP PAC does not condone any candidate (or their representative) removing any other candidates campaign literature/signs under any circumstances.
  • There's still a lingering (nagging) fraud verdict against Yollick stemming from a case dating back to 2009, which we reported on during his run for 9th District Court in 2016.  There was never a judgment against him, as opponents have claimed.nor was Mr. Yollick disbarred and is still practicing law.

  • His wifes' reportedly risque romance book writing may be of a disadvantage w/conservatives

  • His unorthodox public political stances, particularly as a newspaper publisher, have won him many political enemies (and many political allies, as well).
  • Excessively animated; too easily provoked
  • Has become a lightening-rod in the community - disaffected many key people.
  • Takes radical positions
  • Can be overly critical publicly of groups & people who take positions opposite his
