Brian Boniface (Bon-a-fiss) was born, the youngest of four, in Annapolis, MD in 1980; the son of a naval aviator and registered nurse. Although having not been born in Texas, the Boniface family was registered as residents of Texas on Active Duty Military service. Brian earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 1998 and is a life member of the National Eagle Scout Association.
A strong Texas Heritage- The Boniface family has strong roots in Texas, mainly El Paso. His great grandfather, ret. Colonel Boniface of the US Army Calvary and Silver Star recipient is buried at the Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. Following his service, his son, Jack attended the Naval Academy and became a naval aviator, retiring after 30 years of service in McKinney, TX. He and his wife are buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia. Both of his sons went on to become Naval Academy graduates and naval aviators, following in their father’s footsteps. Brian’s father, ret. Captain William Boniface, spent 30 years in the Navy and now resides in Hummelstown, PA with his wife Susan where they are active with their church and outreach ministries.
Brian graduated from Worcester State University in 2003 with a B.S. in Health Sciences. It was at this time that he met his future wife Nicole, who upon becoming engaged in 2005, moved Brian to The Woodlands to raise his family close to her family. Brian and Nicole lived in Panther Creek from 2005-2008, and now reside in Cochran’s Crossing from 2008-present. The Boniface’s have two daughters, Samantha 9, and Rachel 7, both of whom attend Colin Powell Elementary School.
In 2009, after working in sales for four years, Brian decided to join his family’s heritage of military service by joining the Texas Army National Guard as an Infantry Officer. Brian’s military experience is composed of being an Infantry Platoon leader for D. Co 3-144 Infantry Regiment, a heavy weapons unit out of Palestine, TX. Brian was soon promoted to the position of Executive Officer, maintaining, managing, and coordinating personnel and equipment with the 56th Battalion out of Ft. Worth. Brian retired from the National Guard after 6 years of service in 2015 as an S-3 Operations Officer for the Battalion where he worked to coordinate future operations. In May of 2018, Brian answered the call of duty once again and joined the US Army Reserves as a Captain in the Logistics branch due to a shortage of reserve officers.
Brian’s interest in medicine and the human science would be further realized when he went back to school in 2012 to completed his ADN in Nursing from LoneStar College-Montgomery. He was recently hired as an OR Nurse at Conroe Regional Medical Center. His wife Nicole works as an analyst for Morgan Stanley and owns a photography business. They both attend the Woodlands Church.
