Pros
- Remains the highest rated of the state’s high officials, according to an Oct. 17, 2017 UT/Texas Tribune Poll , with 45 percent of voters saying they approve his job performance and 38 saying they disapprove
- Almost Unbeatable in 2018 - good news for Republicans, not so much for Conservatives and certainly not democrats. Reportedly has a $41million war chest. Some of that will likely be used to defeat some democrats and some republican challengers to his campaign.
- Because of the issues above, It's likely democrats will focus on down the ballot races that are more easily achieved
- Slammed by progressive/liberal Cosmopolitan Magazine for his "Anti-Women", Pro-Life positions.
- Endorsed by: TURF (anti-toll roads)
