Stefano de Stefano is a free market Republican and energy attorney running to represent the best interests of the State of Texas in the United States Senate. Stefano and his wife, Jeanine, are raising their 4 year old son and two rescue dogs in Houston.
After receiving a B.A. in Political Science, with a minor in Economics, from the College of the Holy Cross, and a law degree from Fordham University College of Law, Stefano earned a reputation in his field as a results-driven operator by negotiating big-picture solutions to the complex problems faced by global financial institutions and oil and natural gas companies at home and abroad.
As senator, Stefano will leverage his private sector leadership and negotiation acumen to champion the entrepreneurs and small businesses that provide opportunities for the families that call the Lone Star State home.
Stefano’s priorities as Texas’ next U.S. Senator include supporting the economic engines of the state by simplifying regulations that limit competitiveness, developing a 21 st century approach to securing the border and addressing the immigration system’s failures, and improving the Department of Veterans Affairs’ delivery of care to the honorable men and women of America’s armed services.
Stefano is running to support a stronger Texas, one that isn’t threatened by extremist posturing and stunts from do-nothing politicians. He supported Ted Cruz in 2012 only to see him betray his trust, and that of the Texas electorate, by chasing career goals at the expense of his voters’ best interests. While Ted focuses on the next big thing in his political career, Texas industries and communities suffer from his lack of focus.
One of Stefano’s most successful negotiations to date was the one earning his wife’s blessing to put his fulfilling career and their private lives on hold, in order to offer Texans his leadership experience as an alternative to one of the worst career politicians in the U.S. Senate.
It’s time to elect a principled and reasonable leader who will put Texans first, every single day.
