Pro:
- Criminal prosecutor In MoCo and in other counties - and reportedly a very good one at that.
- The 284th is only doing civil cases. That could change with a change of judge. Her extensive criminal jury trial experience transfers well into civil trial realm even though different standards of proof are used and there are variations in the rules of evidence.
- Board Certified in Criminal(not Civil) Law

- Very little CIVIL experience. The 284th hears civil lawsuits between businesses and individuals, as well as property tax cases.
- She has tried many criminal jury trials. However, as of right now, this court has voluntarily shifted its criminal case load to the other courts
