What 2 things about your opponent do the voters need to know?
She's a "former" Democrat (Ohio) and she oversaw a precinct election several years ago, that was so badly handled that a rep from Election Central had to come down to straighten it out.
This is a Republican primary race. Do you promise, if elected, to abide by the RPT platform? And if not, please enumerate what problems you have.
Absolutely, as I have participated in conventions the last 10 years, at all levels(precinct, senatorial & state), to help furmulate those conservative planks. My one area of concern is the Convention of States and who selects our representatives to the convention - if it's the speaker Dade Phelan, that would be problemative on many levels.
Define what the word "Conservative" means to you.
It goes back to our MCTP Core Values:
- Acknowledge our Creator(especially in the public schools) - it's the Alpha and Omega in our lives
- Uphold the Founding Documents (US Constitution) - Founding Father George Mason, author of the Bill of Rights, is an ancestor(by marriage). The "Making of America" by Skousen gives the reader the underpinnings of our Great Nation that was founded on Judeo-Christian principles.
- Free Markets - essential for a free society
- Limited Government - the best government is one that "governs" least by We The People!
- Uphold Fiscal Responsibility - quit spending money, nationally, state and local (especially out-of-cotrol public shcools) that we don't have. At the national level, we're 30 trillion in debt (nearly $200 trillion in unfunded liabilties and it's bad at the lower levels as well).
- Uphold Ethics - hold every elected official accountable to all of the above, as well as their morals.
- Strong National defense - to protect us from enemies both foreign and domestic.
- Secure Borders - to protect our soverneignty
- Election Integrity - at every level, including the limiting Mail-In ballots, cleaning up Voter Rolls, etc.
Are you willing to put in the time necessary to attend CEC meetings, additional committee meetings, training sessions, blockwalking, etc?
I have attended almost all meetings (except for 2-3 when on vacations) in the last 2 bieniums; have not-only blockwalked my precinct in multiple election cycles but have walked others and coordinated same. I've been directly and indirectly involved in training new precinct chairs.
Do you think the 'Republican' brand should be used by PACs in their names that may deceive voters? Why or why not?"
NO! After working the parking lots during elections, groups like the RVT (Republican Voters of Texas PAC), promote their red colored voter guide, to unsuspecting voters, as a Republcian Voter guide during primaries. That's out-right lying and deceptive because the the party doesn't get involved where there are competing Republicans, except in the case of a candidate with Democratic Party ties and/or a party member who's been censured.
What best describes your political ideology most(circle only one).
1. Republican
2. Grassroots
3. Conservative
4. Tea Party

How do you believe precinct chairs should be involved in elections? (election judge, clerk, none?)
If precinct chairs are not on the ballot, they should consider working inside the polls, both early voting and election day to understand the inner workings of the election. Otherwise, they should be outside campaigning for conservative candidates.
Do you like the Steering Committee style of leadership currently in place or that of just a county chairman?
As co-author of the bylaws (2 bienniums) that included the novel 9 member elected steering committee, that were adopted by the County Executive Committee(CEC), I absolutely embrace the distributive power of our CEC organization. I abhor the autocratic leadership of just a county chair. Those who accept that are seemingly into emporer worship!
Do you beieve that the county chair/precinct chairs should actively participate in at least one committee?
Absolutely! Many of our conservatives do, while the Uni-party RINO types are Precinct Chairs because of the title it bestowes on the but then do nothing for the party.
Should the county GOP chair be involved with fundraising? Why or why not?
Yes, they should be directly involved with raising money for the party(especially from a corporate standpoint), and not their PAC like current chair Bryan Christ and his wife.
Should party primaries be "open" or "closed" & why?
Closed. Full stop. We don't need liberal Democrats crossing over into our primaries to elect a more liberal/moderate candidate.
Should the GOP County Chair be selected by the elected County Executive Committee, or in the Open primaries where Democrats can cross over for more moderate candidates?
Absolutely elected by the County Executive Committee (CEC). Similar to legislative bodies at every level, the precinct chairs who participate in the CEC know an individual candidate for party chair the best. As it is now, the one with a recognizable name and/or the one who spends the most amount of money during a campaign, such as our current rogue chair, have a decided edge.
There's discussion about making major revisions to the RPT Platform. Please describe the nature of any major changes you support.
Other than an unclear support for Convention of States(and how a representative is selected), I'm perfectly agreeable to the Texas GOP platform as voted on by delegates at past conventions.
What's your position on Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan?
A totally corrupt individual and should either resign or be removed by the house.
