How does the governor justify allowing the legislature to ignore the mutilation of our children? or Would you allow the legislature to continue to ignore the forced mutilation of children? What age would you consider a child mature enough to make an informed decision regarding such irreversible and life altering decisions? What can the governor do to prevent one parent from forcing such decisions on a child irregarless of the other parent's objection? Gender mutilation and modification in children should not be allowed. It should be a top priority of the governor and the rest of Texas elected Republican reps. It would be my priority as governor to ban gender modification of children in the state of Texas. Legally the age of consent Should be 18 but I would encourage and work to persuade those considering modification to wait till the age of 25.
