Questionnaire

General

What 2 things about your opponent do the voters need to know?

I am active with both Republican Party and local area groups such as Tea Party and Eagle Forum.

1. She is not active in the local area conservative organizations which limits her ability to make conservative decisions.

2. She does not research her topics very well.   Listening to nation news and/or local news stations/news papers will not provide true picture of current pollical situation.

This is a Republican primary race.  Do you promise, if elected, to abide by the RPT platform? And if not, please enumerate what problems you have.

Yes,  I will abide by RPT platform.

Define what the word "Conservative" means to you.

Follow the US, Texas Constitutions,  smaller government with aggressive oversight on government and less regulations.  Balanced budgets, secure our borders, provide school choice,  provide more oversight for better election integrity and enact term limits on our elected representatives.

Are you willing to put in the time necessary to attend CEC meetings, additional committee meetings, training sessions, blockwalking, etc?

Yes,  I currently do all the following attending CEC, committee, training sessions, blocking walking and normally work voting areas as much as possible.

Do you think the 'Republican' brand should be used by PACs in their names that may deceive voters? Why or why not?"

No we should not use Republican brand by PACs.   PACs can be funded by anyone with money and can't be controlled.

What best describes your political ideology most(circle only one).
1.        Republican
2.        Grassroots
3.        Conservative
4.        Tea Party

2. Grassroots

How do you believe precinct chairs should be involved in elections? (election judge, clerk, none?)

No to election judges and clerks.   I prefer working outside voting locations so I can interface directly with voters.   I find that I can have meaningful discussions with voters on varity of issues which results in understanding the voters mindset.

Do you like the Steering Committee style of leadership currently in place or that of just a county chairman?

Steering Committee

Do you beieve that the county chair/precinct chairs should actively participate in at least one committee?

Yes 2 if possible

Should the county GOP chair be involved with fundraising? Why or why not?

Yes fundraising is important and needed.

Should party primaries be "open" or "closed" & why?

Primaries should be closed.   To many crossovers are impacting our primaries.

Should the GOP County Chair be selected by the elected County Executive Committee, or in the Open primaries where Democrats can cross over for more moderate candidates?

GOP county chairs should elected GOP county chairman.

There's discussion about making major revisions to the RPT Platform. Please describe the nature of any major changes you support.

Better processes for enforcing RPT platform rules and holding individual accountable for violations.

What's your position on Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan?

Dade Phelan should be removed from Speaker position.

Budget

Would you support legislative action to establish a salary framework (possibly related to the Gov. salary) for all taxpayer funded employees with a stipulation that elected officials be required to get voter approval to exceed that framework for their own salaries?

No do not agree if I fully understand the question.

Education

Do you support or oppose social programs in our schools (like C-Scope, Common Core, CRT, International Baccalaureate, SEL, etc.)? Why or why not?

I oppose teaching social progams as listed above.    I would like schools to move back to teaching basic subjects.

Ethics

Is there anything in your background of an embarrassing nature that should be explained before your election? Arrests/Convictions? Bankruptcys?

None

Do you agree with precinct chairs involvement in republican primaries? Why or why not?

Yes how else can we support our conservative candidates.

Should the county GOP chair be involved in any other political organizations, including PAC's, while serving a term as the chairman? Why or why not?

On personal level county GOP chairs can be involved in political organizations and/or PACs.   I don't see how it would be possible to prevent GOP chairs from involvement in organizations and/or PACs.

At what point should the "right to life" or "personhood" be granted to new human beings (e.g., at conception, sign of heartbeat, 3 months of pregnancy, birth, 5 days old, etc)? What action, if any, will you take to reflect this in law?

Per SCOUS ruling this should be left to the states to resolve.

Immigration

What, if anything, should be done to protect our borders from illegal immigration?

Go back to Trump policies on border security.

Other

What does being a conservative mean to you?

Follow the US, Texas Constitutions,  smaller government with aggressive oversight on government and less regulations.  Balanced budgets, secure our borders, provide school choice,  provide more oversight for better election integrity and enact term limits on our elected representatives.

List 3 changes that should be made to how elections are conducted in Montgomery County.

I don't like scanning final ballot without some checks by the voter to review accuracy.  Provide a final check.

Shorter early voting timeframe.

Mail in ballots should be reviewed in greater detail.

Do you support current RPT chair Matt Rinaldi in full and if not, what do you disagree with?

Yes I support Matt Rinaldi generally.   I don't like that he hasn't help enforce RPT rules but we could get someone worst.
