Questionnaire

General

What 2 things about your opponent do the voters need to know?

  1. My opponent has been precinct chair for several years.  He is endorsed by Metts and is considered a Rhino republican.
  2. He has not been active in his role as precinct chair.

This is a Republican primary race.  Do you promise, if elected, to abide by the RPT platform? And if not, please enumerate what problems you have.

Yes, I promise to abide by the Republican Party Platform.

Define what the word "Conservative" means to you.

A conservative believes that government is prone to evil and must be held in check by “We the people”.  The less control the government has, the better society works.  I believe the US constitution and the literal intent the founders of this nation meant through it. I believe conservatives are nationalists.  We believe in the sovereignty of our nation and that America is best when it is strong both militarily and financially.  I believe that government must have checks and balances so that the party in power cannot EVER wage a private war against an opponent. I believe that my vote is sacred and is the most constitutional thing that I can do to assure that the government remains of, for, and by the people.

Are you willing to put in the time necessary to attend CEC meetings, additional committee meetings, training sessions, blockwalking, etc?

Yes, I am willing to allocate the time it will take to attend CEC meeting, committee meetings, training sessions, blockwalking, and additional time that it will take to promote our Republican principals.

Do you think the 'Republican' brand should be used by PACs in their names that may deceive voters? Why or why not?"

I absolutely reject any PACs that deceive voters by hijacking the Republican Brand to convey legitimacy to themselves.

What best describes your political ideology most(circle only one).
1.        Republican
2.        Grassroots
3.        Conservative
4.        Tea Party

How do you believe precinct chairs should be involved in elections? (election judge, clerk, none?)

I believe that Precinct Chairs should be the election Judges.  One from each party to monitor the authenticity of the election process.

Do you like the Steering Committee style of leadership currently in place or that of just a county chairman?

Since I believe that our Republican form of government cannot function appropriately without a strong “bottom up” steering, naturally I support the “Steering Committee style of leadership”

Do you beieve that the county chair/precinct chairs should actively participate in at least one committee?

I do believe that all County Executive Committee Members should participate in at least one committee.

Should the county GOP chair be involved with fundraising? Why or why not?

Yes, the GOP County Chair should use the position to fundraise for the Party because that elevated position is the highest County Party position thus would most likely have the greatest chance of success in fundraising.

Should party primaries be "open" or "closed" & why?

I believe that Party Primaries should be closed because open primaries are easily manipulated by people who are not loyal to the party and only vote in the party’s primary to choose the worst Candidates to run against the Candidates of the party that they are loyal to ensure an easier victory for themselves in the General Election. Anyone with a goal to harm the Republican Party shouldn’t be choosing our Candidates.

Should the GOP County Chair be selected by the elected County Executive Committee, or in the Open primaries where Democrats can cross over for more moderate candidates?

The GOP County Chair should not be chosen by Democrats who vote in our open primaries to thwart the will of actual Republicans.

There's discussion about making major revisions to the RPT Platform. Please describe the nature of any major changes you support.

I would support the revision of the Republican Party Platform, to include add a plank stating that the Republican Party condemns dual citizenship. I thought it was a horrible look for Republicans and the whole Nation during the previous election when, the Republican Candidate for Senate in Pennsylvania, Dr. Oz flew home to Turkey to vote in the elections of his homeland. If we truly reject open border globalism and support national sovereignty, the Republican Party should take the major step of rejecting dual citizenship and calling for laws that require Naturalized Citizens to honor their oath to “absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign state”.

What's your position on Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan?

Dade Phelan should resign or be replaced in the next election cycle. He has been a horrible Speaker for the Texas House of Representatives from failing to pass most of the Republican priorities to launching a rushed Impeachment of our Conservative Attorney General Ken Paxton, appointing Democrat Representatives to be Committee Chairs, and the list goes on. His apparent drunkenness while conducting House business was especially egregious and should also be investigated immediately.

Budget

Would you support legislative action to establish a salary framework (possibly related to the Gov. salary) for all taxpayer funded employees with a stipulation that elected officials be required to get voter approval to exceed that framework for their own salaries?

Yes, I believe that the Legislature and the Executive branches of Government should be responsible for almost all decisions and they should not be delegated to unelected bureaucrats.

Education

Do you support or oppose social programs in our schools (like C-Scope, Common Core, CRT, International Baccalaureate, SEL, etc.)? Why or why not?

I oppose all social programs in our school that foster Marxist ideologies because they are contrary to our Constitution and are thus revolutionary in nature; bent on overthrowing the very foundations of the United States. Schools should educate children on reading, writing, arithmetic, sciences, while respecting the parents ultimate authority over their own children.

Ethics

Is there anything in your background of an embarrassing nature that should be explained before your election? Arrests/Convictions? Bankruptcys?

No.

Do you agree with precinct chairs involvement in republican primaries? Why or why not?

Yes, Precinct Chairs are the lowest elected position making them the closest representative to “We The People” so they play a pivotal role in the primaries in reaching the people.

Should the county GOP chair be involved in any other political organizations, including PAC's, while serving a term as the chairman? Why or why not?

The GOP County Chairman should not use his/her position and the Republican Brand to profit personally; this creates a serious conflict of interests.

At what point should the "right to life" or "personhood" be granted to new human beings (e.g., at conception, sign of heartbeat, 3 months of pregnancy, birth, 5 days old, etc)? What action, if any, will you take to reflect this in law?

Life begins at conception thus the laws of Texas and the Nation should reflect that and protect the not yet born as the laws protect every other human. More must be done to protect “Right to Life” advocates who are being raided, arrested, and jailed for advocating outside of abortion clinics. These heavy handed tactics are being used to scare American Citizens away from exercising their rights enshrined in the first Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Immigration

What, if anything, should be done to protect our borders from illegal immigration?

  1. Massive Deportation operations would help in two ways. First it would eliminate many people who are already in the United States illegally and second it would curtail further invasion of our Borders as the word would spread that the long journey isn’t worth the effort.
  2. Cutting off financial assistance would also have a positive affect because most of the Illegals are coming for economic benefits.
  3. Everify laws are paramount because without jobs, Illegal Aliens would be forced to return home and low income American wages would increase because there would be less competition for those jobs.
Other

What does being a conservative mean to you?

An American Conservative is a patriotic person who promotes policies to preserve the values that are the foundation of our Christian Nation. Conservatives protect and defend the United States Constitution as it was originally written and understood by our Founding Fathers. They especially protect and defend our God given freedoms that are enumerated in the Bill of Rights. Conservatives also promote the principles of limited government, free market capitalism, and the rule of law being applied evenly to all Americans.

List 3 changes that should be made to how elections are conducted in Montgomery County.

  1. Cameras should be everywhere that the ballots travel, are being handled, or are being counted.
  2. Watermarked Paper Ballots; no machines. The printing and quantity of printed ballots should be tightly controlled.
  3. The process for Citizens to call for a hand recount, including Mail In and Overseas Ballots, should be made much easier. It should be made much more difficult for a hand recount to be denied by Election Officials.

Do you support current RPT chair Matt Rinaldi in full and if not, what do you disagree with?

I fully support The Republican Party of Texas Chairman Matt Rinaldi. I hope this next Republican Convention will provide Chairman Rinaldi with more Conservative State Republican Executive Committeemen so that he will be more free to move the Party in a more Conservative direction.
