Define what the word "Conservative" means to you.
To be a Conservative implies a person who understands our Founding Fathers and promotes policies to preserve the values of our Christian Nation. It also implies protecting and defending the United States Constitution as it was originally written. They especially our God-given freedoms as found in the Bill of Rights. It has long been associated with the principles of limited government, free markets, and the rule of law.

How do you believe precinct chairs should be involved in elections? (election judge, clerk, none?)
During early voting, I think Precinct Chairs being outside the Polls helps get the voters good information. On election day either inside or out, inside I feel I am helping voter integrity outside I am helping inform.
Do you like the Steering Committee style of leadership currently in place or that of just a county chairman?
I see the Steering Committee style of leadership keeping better contact with the grassroots of the Republican Party so the people who put skin in the game get input, giving us servant-style leadership.
Do you beieve that the county chair/precinct chairs should actively participate in at least one committee?
Committees are very important to getting the job of the party done, so wherever possible County Executive Committee Members should participate in at least one which is almost always.
Should the county GOP chair be involved with fundraising? Why or why not?
This is part of the GOP County Chair job description. He should be at every fundraiser for the Party because he will involve those in elected offices. And like committees, their involvement will improve the chance of success in fundraising.
Should party primaries be "open" or "closed" & why?
A closed primary helps ensure Party loyalty. Candidates are people proven to be on the party’s team. Not influenced by anyone who wants to harm the Republican Party.
Should the GOP County Chair be selected by the elected County Executive Committee, or in the Open primaries where Democrats can cross over for more moderate candidates?
No, only confirmed Republicans should be able to vote for the GOP County Chair.
There's discussion about making major revisions to the RPT Platform. Please describe the nature of any major changes you support.
I don’t know of any at this time I have worked over the years to make the Platform strong.
What's your position on Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan?
He has failed to pass most of the Republican priorities over his tenure, appointed Democrat Representatives to be Committee Chairs, and other things helpful to Democrats more than Republicans.
