1. I have been living here longer and know all the people that are involved in our precinct.
2. I am active in our precinct.  I don’t want to say anything bad about the other candidate but I don’t think I’ve seen him around the grassroots organizations and events in Montgomery County.

Conservative means that a person holds to the same traditional values that birthed our country.  The ideas of limited government and individual liberty two of the most important pillars of conservatism.  It also embodies that the belief that liberty comes from God and not from men.

Yes, I am willing to put in the time.

No, it confuses voters.

I believe the biggest involvement should be in turning out the vote.  Certainly, precinct chairs should also take all available opportunities to be involved at election judges and clerks to help monitor and maintain election integrity.

I like having the Steering Committee style of leadership.

Yes, the county GOP chair is the flagship to getting fundraising for the party

I believe in closing the primaries to prevent outside influences from tainting the vote.

The GOP County Chair should be selected by the CEC.

Yes

I oppose all social ideology in our schools.  It is teaching humanism and socialism and indoctrinating Texas children with liberalism

Yes, the goal of precinct chairs should be to turn out the vote.  Historically, primary elections have low participation.  Usually the November elections are decided in the primaries.

No, the GOP chair should seek to be without controversy or favoritism.

At what point should the "right to life" or "personhood" be granted to new human beings (e.g., at conception, sign of heartbeat, 3 months of pregnancy, birth, 5 days old, etc)? What action, if any, will you take to reflect this in law?

Poorly worded question.  Rights and liberties are not granted.  Life begins at conception without regard to the circumstances of that conception.  There is going to be continuing attacks by the left in Texas to try to undermine current laws.  I think one of those areas will be whether a pregnancy is viable or whether a child will be born with a disease, or physical or mental ailment. 

What, if anything, should be done to protect our borders from illegal immigration?

A physical barrier should be erected and the return ofall illegal immigrants to the country of origin when feasible until the court determines their status.Texas should secure its border since the Federal government refuses to do so.

What does being a conservative mean to you?

It means holding to a limited, small government that protects the traditional individual liberties that our country was founded on
