What 2 things about your opponent do the voters need to know?
Opponent is unknown - first time I have seen his name - no bio was available for me to compare myself with.
This is a Republican primary race. Do you promise, if elected, to abide by the RPT platform? And if not, please enumerate what problems you have.
Yes - I believe in conservative values and open and honest elections.
Define what the word "Conservative" means to you.
Conservative means we support America first: A conservative will fight to protect our US Constitution and our Bill of Rights... and further deny any attempt to alter them without open debate and a general election vote. Conservative means we protect the life of unborn children and we respect life at all stages, cease and desist in all forms of sexual indoctrination of children, remain fiscally responsible to our taxpayers. Finally conservatives should immediately fight to overturn current propaganda platforms which allow false advertising to be made public without contest.
Are you willing to put in the time necessary to attend CEC meetings, additional committee meetings, training sessions, blockwalking, etc?
Yes I do. I have and will continue to blockwalk for other conservatives. I am active in CEC meetings and have served for more that three elections as clerk then Judge and finally Co-Judge.
Do you think the 'Republican' brand should be used by PACs in their names that may deceive voters? Why or why not?"
The key words here are "PAC Deception". Under no circumstance should deception be allowed by any government body.
What best describes your political ideology most(circle only one).
1. Republican
2. Grassroots
3. Conservative
4. Tea Party
These all support my Conservative ideology.
How do you believe precinct chairs should be involved in elections? (election judge, clerk, none?)
Precinct Chairs assure that in all elections every registered voter is treated with courtesy and all votes are accounted for and delivered to election central. Provisional voting must be validated by election central. I further believe that Precinct Chairs, when elected as delegates, need to attend State Republican Party Conventions as I do now.
Do you like the Steering Committee style of leadership currently in place or that of just a county chairman?
I believe in a moderated steering commitee approach to leadership. I believe that the GOP Chair should be responsible to the CEC.
Do you beieve that the county chair/precinct chairs should actively participate in at least one committee?
Yes I do!
Should the county GOP chair be involved with fundraising? Why or why not?
I believe that County GOP Chairs have a responsibility to further the success of the Republication Party in both getting out the vote and disseminating facts to help our voters understand the issues and clarify what their votes can accomplish. I would have to understand any other fundraising prior to action.
Should party primaries be "open" or "closed" & why?
I believe that party primaries should be restricted to registered party voters only.
Should the GOP County Chair be selected by the elected County Executive Committee, or in the Open primaries where Democrats can cross over for more moderate candidates?
GOP County Chairs should only be selected by their respective County Executive Committees and voted in by a majority of CEC Members.
There's discussion about making major revisions to the RPT Platform. Please describe the nature of any major changes you support.
I have experienced so much time wasted on lesser important platform issues. I would like to see issues ranked before we meet together such that we can deal with our most important platform issues first. Top Five issues, next five issues, then as time allows all other issues...
What's your position on Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan?
We need a true Republican to replace Mr. Phelan. He is a great dissappoint to me.
