Questionnaire

General

What 2 things about your opponent do the voters need to know?

I don't know my opponent.

This is a Republican primary race.  Do you promise, if elected, to abide by the RPT platform? And if not, please enumerate what problems you have.

Absolutely. I love so much is Bible based

Define what the word "Conservative" means to you.

Basically, holding traditional values and honoring our Constitution

Are you willing to put in the time necessary to attend CEC meetings, additional committee meetings, training sessions, blockwalking, etc?

Yes, as circumsrtances allow.  Will be off my feet for a month, but hope to delegate

Do you think the 'Republican' brand should be used by PACs in their names that may deceive voters? Why or why not?"

I don't like it, but I suppose if they hold to the Republican platform. However, it puts the onus on real Repupblicans to educate the public to differeniate between establishment and grassroots. And the Rhinos need to get their own logo like a cross between a donkey and elephant head.

What best describes your political ideology most(circle only one).
1.        Republican
2.        Grassroots
3.        Conservative
4.        Tea Party

Up to now I would say conservative until the moderates have muddied that term so much, I will have to say grassroots now.

How do you believe precinct chairs should be involved in elections? (election judge, clerk, none?)

Leading the way by example, clerk or judge.  But now I'm understanding they can sometimes make a bigger differencre by campaigning outside.  So now I would say either, as long as they are involved.

Do you like the Steering Committee style of leadership currently in place or that of just a county chairman?

Not really familiar, but I should think the steering committee would not put all the power in one hand, so unless I learn otherwise, I'll say steering committee.

Do you beieve that the county chair/precinct chairs should actively participate in at least one committee?

I don't know the time involved, and how hard pressed the chairs are for time, but definitely the county chair. And I would think the precinct chairs would want to if just to learn the inner workings.

Should the county GOP chair be involved with fundraising? Why or why not?

In some capacity.  I was psyched up for fundraising for another org, thinking it would be fun and found I was a total flop - not one taker!

Should party primaries be "open" or "closed" & why?

Closed

Should the GOP County Chair be selected by the elected County Executive Committee, or in the Open primaries where Democrats can cross over for more moderate candidates?

County Exec Committee. There's already enough party value confusion which we don't want to encourage with open primaries.

There's discussion about making major revisions to the RPT Platform. Please describe the nature of any major changes you support.

It has been my past experience any changes introduced are progressive left-leaning. So if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

What's your position on Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan?

Impeach him! Enough of him sabotaging his own party.

Budget

Would you support legislative action to establish a salary framework (possibly related to the Gov. salary) for all taxpayer funded employees with a stipulation that elected officials be required to get voter approval to exceed that framework for their own salaries?

Yes

Education

Do you support or oppose social programs in our schools (like C-Scope, Common Core, CRT, International Baccalaureate, SEL, etc.)? Why or why not?

Oppose all such cirriculi that are leftist, contribute to the dumbing down of America, and don't add value or life skills for the real world.

Ethics

Is there anything in your background of an embarrassing nature that should be explained before your election? Arrests/Convictions? Bankruptcys?

Nothing that I can think of.

Do you agree with precinct chairs involvement in republican primaries? Why or why not?

Yes, isn't that a main purpose for the position? Are we not liasons to our neighborhoods to educate and acquaint?

Should the county GOP chair be involved in any other political organizations, including PAC's, while serving a term as the chairman? Why or why not?

I believe the better equipped we are with info to make decisions, the better decisions we can make.  So IF there's no conflict of interest - be very careful on this - and they can do sojudiciously, it would be OK.

At what point should the "right to life" or "personhood" be granted to new human beings (e.g., at conception, sign of heartbeat, 3 months of pregnancy, birth, 5 days old, etc)? What action, if any, will you take to reflect this in law?

At conception. If God sees them as beings then, who are we to say otherwise!  I don't know what action I would take.  I have yearly particpatedf in Walk for LIfe and occassionally stood watch at abortion clinics.

Immigration

What, if anything, should be done to protect our borders from illegal immigration?

Enforce the wall, send illegals home. No free allowances from the government. Make English the only language taught and accepted.

Other

What does being a conservative mean to you?

Pro-God, Pro- family, pro-life, not reckless financially; honor a budget, honor you word, honor God's word.

List 3 changes that should be made to how elections are conducted in Montgomery County.

Establish a holiday for voting - no school or work.

Otherwise set very strick conditions for early voting, and careful monitoring to enfoce it.  If too much to enforce, eliminate it.

Same for mail ballots

Do you support current RPT chair Matt Rinaldi in full and if not, what do you disagree with?

I don't know.
