John Wertz: Mr. Sanders - Our vetting process is widely known as the most thorough and transparent in this area. Yet, you declined to participate. If you wouldn't answer our questionnaire, as a respresentative of the people, then why should we trust you in this position now?
He replied, saying he didn't agree with the questionnaires' No. 10 ("Do you think the county needs to zone areas to control population densities and development patterns?" The question was framed in a way to determine how he would handle low-income Section 8 housing in or near affluent areas in MoCo). Instead, he said we shouldn't be asking such questions!!
So interestingly, for one question he claims shouldn't be asked by the MCTP vetting committee, he avoids the whole questionnaire altogether.
