The elected officers of the party are the Chairman, Vice-Chairman, and the Secretary who perform their duties as assigned by the Texas Election Code[4], by RPT bylaws, and by the Rules of the Party.
The appointive officials of the Party shall be the Finance Chairman, the Treasurer, the Parliamentarian, the General Counsel and the Assistant General Counsel(s), the Sergeant at Arms, and the Chaplain each of whom shall be appointed by the Chairman. The Chairman, who shall be elected as prescribed by the Texas Election Code[5], shall be the chief executive officer of the Party, representing the SREC as its official spokesman, and much more. Major Issues
As well as supporting the new RPT Chair, the new vice chairman must continue to keep the focus on and apply pressure, regarding:
- Closing uur open border (by the feds or if they won't do it, the state);
- Election Integrity
- Banning Taxpayer-Funded Lobbying
- Banning Democrat Chairs in both Chambers
- Eliminating Property Taxes
- Fundraising for the party
- Close our Primary
- Removing the Texas Election Code from our private party
- Ban Gender Modification of Children
- Stop Sexualizing Texas Kids
- Stop DEI and CRT on alll educational institutions
- Medical Freedom and No Vaccine mandades
- Abolish Abortion in Texas
- Defend Our Gun Rights
- Protect Parental Rights and Ensure Educational Freedom
- Make Local Elections Partisan
- Move all elections to November and hold primaries for all elections
- Banning NGO money in GOTV and voter registration efforts
- Make the energy grid more reliable and safe
- Pass a conservative budget and rein in spending and taxes
