Major Issues
- Mobility in and around The Woodlands Township
- Property Swap between Howard Hughtes Corporation(HHC) and Pct. Commissioner Noack, who's son worked for HHC at the time;
- Loose regulations for the Indepdence Day parade, w/Gay Pride flaunting during a family friendly event;
- Disposition of the old GE Betts property located at the SW Corner of Grogans Mill and Lake Woodlands;
- There was reportedly 4 Underground Storage tanks there (@ GE Betts, 3 concrete and one fiberglass, with reportedly the fiberglass one leaking). There appeared to be no final disposition of this tank;
- Woodlands Parkway Extension
- Future Township development
- Current admin continues to underwrite the Secuirty Firm Alpha-Omega, who ride horses around The Woodlands, though they have no arrest authority. Reported costs to taxpayers - $1.5 milion. Maybe the businesses should chip in.
- It's reported that approximately $2 million of Pavilion ticket sales is rebated to the Cyn. Woods Mitchell Pavilion. This is money that could go towards a perfoming arts center.
- The Pavilion continues to showcase verbally offensive, sexually offensive acts and language that perform in front of children.
